A Legacy that Runs Deep.
Before Tilburg Racing Products, there was DRC Race Products, a respected name in racing tools and engine components founded by John DiBartolomeo.
For more than 30 years, John built a reputation for innovation, precision, and passion for the racing world. From rocker and stud style valve spring tools to engine cradles, extra-long dowel pins, billet CO2 bottle valve handles, and indexing tools, DRC Race Products became a staple in shops and garages across the country.
When John passed away in 2022, his wife Dottie entrusted Sam Tilburg to carry on that legacy. Two years later, Sam acquired DRC’s jigs and designs to ensure that every product John engineered would continue to uphold the integrity and performance that made his name respected in the racing world.
Meet the Builder Under the Hood.
Sam Tilburg has spent more than 10 years in the engine-building world, and he’s been around racing nearly his entire life. He’s built professional race engines, spent over a decade behind the wheel himself, and dedicated countless nights fabricating tools to solve the everyday problems racers face.
TRP grew from that same mindset — the need for heavy-duty, American-made tools that could handle the demands of professional builders and serious enthusiasts. Sam’s experience both in the shop and helping out at the track ensures every TRP product is designed by someone who truly understands its purpose.
